■風疹ワクチン接種クーポン、来年度570万人に配布へ 48歳から53歳の男性が対象 [健康ダイジェスト]
風疹の流行の中心となっている中高年の男性が、抗体検査やワクチン接種を無料で受けられるクーポンについて、厚生労働省は来年度、48歳から53歳までの男性約570万人に配布することを決めました。
風疹は、ウイルス性の感染症で妊娠中の女性が感染すると、生まれてくる赤ちゃんに障害が出る可能性もあり、今年の患者数は2200人あまりに上っています。
流行の中心となっているのは、風疹への抗体がない人が多い40歳から57歳の男性で、厚労省はこのうち40歳から47歳までの男性に対し、今年４月から抗体検査やワクチン接種が原則無料で受けられるクーポンを配布しています。
28日に開かれた厚労省の専門家会議で、来年度の配布の対象について議論され、国内に住む48歳から53歳までの男性全員の約570万人に、クーポンを配布することが決まりました。
さらに、残りの54歳から57歳までの人たちについても、自治体の判断でクーポンを前倒しして配布できるようにすることが決まりました。
一方で、今年度にクーポンが配布された約640万人のうち、これまでに抗体検査を受けた人は80万人あまりにとどまっていることから、厚労省は自治体の理解を得た上で、１年間になっているクーポンの有効期限を引き延ばしたり、利用していない人に配布し直したりすることにしています。
