　主治医は血液検査で体のどこかに炎症が起きた疑いがあったことから、心筋炎の疑いも報告しているものの、「症状や検査に乏しく確定はできない」ともしています。
　５〜11歳向けのワクチン接種は４月29日までに計約160万回行われ、医療機関から副反応の疑い事例が計55件報告されました。国際基準に該当する心膜炎が７歳の男児１人にみられたものの、軽快したといいます。専門家部会は、現時点でワクチン接種の継続に重大な懸念は認められないとしました。
