　厚生労働省は６日、全国約5000の定点医療機関から９月25日～10月１日の１週間に新たに報告されたインフルエンザの感染者数は計４万7346人だったと発表しました。前週比１・35倍と増加しました。１医療機関当たりの平均は９・57人で、減少傾向となっている新型コロナウイルスの８・83人を上回りました。
　武見敬三厚労相は６日の閣議後記者会見で、「例年と比較して患者が多い状態で推移している」と言及。インフルエンザの予防接種を巡り「新型コロナワクチンとの同時接種も可能。希望する人は早めの接種を」と呼び掛けました。
　前週と比べ39都道府県で増加しました。流行の「注意報」レベルとなる10人を超えたのは14都県。１医療機関当たりの感染者数が多かったのは順に沖縄県25・93人、千葉県19・56人、大分県19・55人でした。首都圏や九州・沖縄での流行が目立ちます。少なかったのは青森県０・48人、福井県０・92人、岩手県１・03人など。
　休校や学級閉鎖などになったのは全国で計2204施設でした。
