■介護離職、発生企業の５割超で支援制度を利用せず 介護休業・休暇制度の浸透に遅れ

　それによりますと、今年８月までの１年間に家族などの介護が原因で仕事を辞める「介護離職」をした従業員がいた企業に、介護休業と介護休暇のいずれかの制度が利用されたかを尋ねたところ、回答のあった220社のうち「利用した従業員がいない」と答えた企業が54.・５％と、全体の半数以上に上りました。
　また仕事と介護の両立支援の取り組みが十分だと思うか尋ねたところ、全体の38％が「そう思わない」と答えました。

　調査を行った「東京商工リサーチ」は、「育児休業は知られるようになった一方で、介護休業や介護休暇の制度は認知度が低く利用せずに辞めている実態がある。今後、介護離職は増えると予想され、人手不足の中、企業にとっても痛手であることから、制度の周知を徹底するなど早急な取り組みが必要だ」と指摘しています。
