■ワクチン２回目接種から14日以降に発症した人の死亡・重症化ケースなし 大阪府調査

　大阪府は18日、今年３月以降の新型コロナウイルス感染症の新規陽性者約８万5000人を分析したところ、ワクチンを２回接種して14日以降に発症した人で、死亡や重症化したケースがゼロだったと明らかにしました。府は「今後も分析を進めるが、ワクチンの効果が期待できる」としています。
　３月１日から８月15日の新規陽性者８万5325人を対象にして、ワクチンの接種歴を調べた結果、接種を受けたのは2118人（２・５％）でした。このうち、２回接種後14日が過ぎ、ウイルスを攻撃する抗体ができていたとみられる人は317人いましたが、死者や重症者は１人もいませんでした。
　一方、接種歴のなかった８万3207人（97・５％）のうち、死者は1557人（１・９％）、重症者は1984人（２・４％）でした。
　ワクチンの接種歴の違いによる新規陽性者の割合も推計したところ、８月２日から15日の間、２回接種後14日以降に発症した人の割合は、接種歴がなく発症した人の割合の１割以下でした。この傾向は、30歳以下、40～64歳、65歳以上のいずれの年代でも同じでした。
　大阪市立大学の福島若葉教授（公衆衛生学）は、「ワクチンの有効性がよく表れている。ただし、接種後に感染する『ブレイクスルー（突破）感染』も一定の割合で起きており、感染拡大を抑えることが大切だ」と話しています。
　２回目のワクチン接種後、アメリカのファイザー社製では約７日、アメリカのモデルナ社製では14日が経過すれば、免疫を獲得できるとされます。ただ、接種を終えても感染するリスクがゼロになるわけではありません。
