　韓国の新型コロナウイルス新規感染者数が連日急増し、初めて3000人を超えました。秋夕（チュソク、旧盆）連休明けに感染者が急増しています。
　中央防疫対策本部は、25日０時を基準に１日の新規感染者数を3273人、累計29万8402と発表しました。前日の2434人より839人増え、２日連続で過去最多を更新しました。１週間前の18日の2087人と比較すると1186人多く、50％以上も増えました。
　新規感染者数が3000人台となったのは、韓国国内で最初の感染者が確認された昨年１月20日から１年８カ月目、正確には614日目です。
　22日まで秋夕の連休だった韓国では、帰省や行楽による人の移動が大幅に増えたことから、防疫当局は25日の会見で今後１～２週間に感染者数がさらに増える可能性があるという見方を示しました。
　防疫当局は各地に臨時の検査所を増設して、感染状況の把握に力を入れることにしており、連休中にソウルなどの首都圏と地方を行き来した人や私的な集まりに参加した人は、症状がなくても念のために検査を受けるよう呼び掛けています。
　ワクチンの普及などを理由に行動制限の一部緩和へとかじを切った韓国政府ですが、感染拡大が長期化すれば方針の見直しを迫られる可能性もあります。
